AOL releases Netscape 7.0.
AOL have released version 7.0 of its Netscape browser. The new browser comes with the promise of faster and more stable operation, but only the future will show the amount of truth thath lies in these statements.

The browser comes with an integrated email client and features a tab browsing interface, opening all different sites visited in the same window, something that Opera had for years and Internet Explorer still lacks.

Besides the hype that follows its release Zdnet uk's review of the browser doesn't find a substantial reason for switching from Microsoft's product.

You can view the complete ZdNet review here or download the new browser from here.
